What is this bread? Depending on how thin you go, depends on how airy it is. If you roll it out super thin then you have a fantastic Basic Pizza. But today we are making an airy crusty bread, soft in the middle and crusty on the outside. It's really fab & very versatile. Note this is not really suitable for sandwhiches

For the whole recipe:
1566 Calories / 12g Carbs / 71g Protein / 135g Fat
~
This can make as many portions as you want (within reason), depending on what you would like to make. But here are the macros for 12 individual portions - each portion contains:
130 Calories / 0.6g Carbs / 5.9g Protein / 11g Fat

Tips & Equipment:
Large bowl & spatula
Optional - greaseproof or silicon paper & rolling pin
Baking tin - I like to use a brownie tin for this recipe - approx 7 - 8 inches square
Top tip from Helen Bouchard - wet your hands whilst working this dough, it's very sticky, but she loved it :-)
Ingredients
-
1 batch Dough Base (follow this link to take you to the recipe)
- 25g Mature Cheddar, grated
The Dough
The Rest of the Ingredients
Directions
Oven 190C or Ninja 180C
The Dough
Follow the directions for Dough Base recipe (follow this link to take you to the recipe)
You can line your tin, if it's not particularly non stick
You can either roll it out to fit your tin, or push it into the tin by hand. This dough is very forgiving, so do whatever you find easiest for you :-)
*** If rolling out with a rolling pin, you must roll between either oiled greaseproof or silicon paper. And don't forget, when handling this dough, it is very sticky. A bowl of water is your best friend! :-)
The Rest of the Ingredients
Finally sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of your dough
You could add some herbs or freshly grated pepper, or maybe some chilli flakes too
Bake top shelf 15 - 20 minutes
