This recipe is still a working progress, so please feel free to have a play and let me know what you think :-)

This is a great little batter recipe - click on my live video (below) to see how I got on - This will be added 19th Jan 2022
~
You'll need any vegetables that you think are suitable for frying. Again check out my live to see what I decided to fry. Lol, there'll be a couple of surpises!
~
Equipment:
Deep fat fryer or a deep pan with lard or coconut oil, kitchen towel or a clean tea towel
~
For the whole recipe:
434 Calories / 11g Carbs / 48g Protein / 14g Fat
~
Makes 4 portions - each portion contains:
108 Calories / 2.8g Carbs / 12g Protein / 3.6g Fat

Ingredients
120g Lupin flour
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
1/2 Garlic paste
1/4 tsp Ground Pepper
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
150ml Water
Directions
Heat up your oil until it's 190C - it's really important to be hot hot hot, otherwise the veg will soak up the oil and the crispiness just won't work
Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix to a smooth batter or for speed pop in the bullet or food processor
One by one dip your veg into the batter. If you're using a deep fat fryer, dropping it (carefully) straight into the fryer, with the basket immersed in the oil is best, otherwise the veg may stick to the base of the basket
Depending on what veg you are cooking and how big it's been chopped, but for an average sized swede chip is about 5 - 7 minutes
When cooked, pop it onto either some kitchen towel or a clean tea towel
And that's it!
Enjoy :-)
