For an extra kick:
Directions
Place all your herbs and seasoning into a pestle & mortar and pound well.
Place your mince into the bowl and add the spice and seasoning mix.
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz well. Alternatively, mix thoroughly with your hands until all the ingredients are combined well. I found a kneading action like you would bread for a good few minutes gave the mix a good smooth consistency.
Shape your meat into the shape you want and make sure it’s pressed as tightly together as possible to form a sliceable block. I used a disposable foil loaf tin and pressed it into that.
Place directly into the bottom of your slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hours on high or 7 hours on low, or cover in foil and bake for 45 minutes at 180c in the oven or 170c in the Ninja Foodi.
Rest for around 10 minutes before slicing as thin as possible using a vegetable peeler and enjoy!
