Ingredients
-
180g Tinned Tomatoes or Passata
-
60g Apple Cider Vinegar (adjust to taste - also depends on the quality / strength of the ACV)
-
30ml Liquid Aminos (this is a soy sauce replacement -you can use soy sauce instead if you wish)
-
10g Sesame Seeds
-
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
-
1/8 tsp Xanthan Gum
-
Salt & Pepper
-
Sweeten to taste - I used 5g Truvia / Natvia / Pure Via Sweetener
-
60g Freshly squeezed orange juice
The Sauce - both ways
Sauce with Sweetener
Sauce with Orange Juice as the sweetener
Directions
The Sauce - both ways
In a food processor or Bullet, put all of the ingredients and whiz until smooth
Optional, I add my sesame seeds at this point too, or you could add them to the sauce whilst cooking and keep them whole
In a small saucepan bring to almost boiling, then turn down to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
Storage
I store mine in the fridge in a kilner jar, or a screw top glass jar
