What are these rolls? Soft in the middle and super crispy & crunchy on the outside. These rolls have a lovely coating of bacon & parmesan on the outside. Note this is not really suitable for sandwhiches

This can make as many portions as you want, depending on what size you would like to make them. But here are the macros for 12 individual portions - each portion contains:
171 Calories / 1g Carbs / 9.4g Protein / 14g Fat
~
Tips & Equipment:
Large bowl & spatula
A bullet or blender or food processor
Top tip from Helen Bouchard - wet your hands whilst working this dough, it's very sticky, but she loved it :-)
Ingredients
-
1 batch Dough Base (follow this link to take you to the recipe)
-
200g Bacon
-
20g Finely grated parmesan
-
1 Medium / large egg
The Dough
The Rest of the Ingredients
Directions
Oven 190C or Ninja 180C
The Bacon
Pop in the Ninja or oven and cook until nice and crispy - in the Ninja it took 15 minutes, in the oven it'll be approx 15 - 20 minutes
Once cooked, dab off any oil and allow to cool slightly
The Dough
Whilst the bacon is cooking follow the directions for Dough Base recipe (follow this link to take you to the recipe)
Once made, divide into 12 individual balls (I actually weighed the total dough and I weighed each individual to the same weight x 12 - trust me it doesn't take long!)
Line an oven tray / dish with greaseproof paper
And finally
Add the cooled bacon to the blender & blitz until resemble fine bread crumbs or sand
Add to a large bowl and add the finely grated parmesan & mix with a spoon
In another bowl whisk your egg with a fork
Now dip each dough ball into the egg, completely coating each one. I suggest doing all the dough ball dipping in one go, before dipping into the parmesan & bacon mix, as it can get rather messy :-)
Now dip each dough ball into the Bacon & Parmesan mix, completely coating each one
Place each coated dough ball onto an oven tray / dish leaving an approx 1 cm gap between each one. They do spread & grow. You want enough space that they can grow but still touch - the tare n share bit
Pop into the oven for 25 minutes or the Ninja for 20 minutes
Enjoy :-)
