Cumin Spiced Cabbage

We were making Lamb Shami Kebabs on a live, and this sounded like the perfect accompaniment! Colourful, full of flavour, and even better when fried in the leftover lamb fat :D
Makes 2 portions - each portion contains:
110 Calories / 6.2g Carbs / 6.5g Fat / 3.7g Protein / 6.1g Fibre
As with all UK labels, the carbs above are already net carbs. Do not subtract the fibre.
Ingredients
-
15ml Butter or other fat of choice (we served this with Lamb Shami Kebabs, so we used the lamb fat leftover in the pan!)
-
300g Hard White Cabbage
-
½ tsp Ground Turmeric
-
½ tsp Garlic Powder
-
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
-
1 tsp Salt
Directions
Add the butter to a pan over a medium heat and add the cumin seeds. Allow them to cook for 1-2 minutes.
Shred the cabbage into long, thin strips and add to the pan. Cook for around 5 minutes with the lid on to generate some steam.
Remove the lid, add the remaining spices and stir through. Continue to cook until the cabbage reaches your preference.
