This recipe, has been greatfully recieved from my mother in law, with a little keto magic. It's mighty filling
This portion size is designed as a starter, but if you double up the portions, you have a perfect main :-)
This was designed for part of my Welsh Night, 3 course dinners.
This event includes
Starter - Ham & Leek with a cheesy crusty topping
Main - Lamb Stew (Cawl) & Glamorgan Sausages
Dessert - Bara brith
For the whole recipe:

242 Calories / 2.5g Carbs / 12.1g Protein / 19.6g Fat
Ingredients

170g Leeks - chunky chopped
-
125g Ready cooked and sliced ham - I really like diced up gammon in this dish

100ml Milk
-
50g Double cream
-
30g Cream Cheese
-
30g Ready grated Mozerella
-
1/2 tsp Mustard Powder
-
S & P
-
1/2 90 sec bread
-
Seasoning
-
50g Grated cheddar
The Sauce
Topping
Directions
Oven 180C
Oven proof dish, lightly grease
Cut your leeks into strips that will fit the base of your oven proof dish (lol or slice anyway that you like :-) )
Steam or boil the leeks until cooked and fill the base of your oven proof dish
Break the cooked ham into pieces and scatter over the leeks
The Sauce
Meanwhile add all the sauce ingredients to a none stick saucepan
Bring the sauce to almost boiling and then turn down to a gentle simmer. Keep stiring until the sauce thickens
Poor over the ham and leeks
Final toppings
Whiz up your bread to crumbs and season
Sprinkle all over the sauce
Now sprinkle over the grated cheddar
Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes
