Ingredients
-
500g Minced Lamb (we used 20% fat)
-
15g Fresh Ginger, roughly chopped
-
2 Garlic Cloves
-
3 tsp Kashmiri Chilli
-
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
-
Handful of fresh mint
-
Handful of fresh coriander
-
Salt & Pepper to season
-
15ml Olive Oil
Directions
These are best made in a food processor. Place all the ingredients except the olive oil in the processor and blitz to a thick paste. Without a processor, finely chop the garlic, ginger and herbs together and then mix by hand in a large bowl with the lamb mince.
Divide the mix into 4 equal portions and then create 3 or 4 koftas from each portion.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat and add the koftas.
Cook for around 10 minutes, rotating them regularly.
