This is a Spice Guy classic that takes just minutes to make. Replace the basa for cod, chicken, prawns, or even halloumi to switch things up.
Makes 2 portions - each portion contains: 253 Cal / 2.6g Carbs / 33g Protein / 12.6g Fat

Ingredients

380g Basa Fillets - Defrosted and drained

20ml Olive Oil

1/2 Tsp Ground Turmeric

2 Garlic Cloves / 5 g Garlic Puree

1/2 inch Fresh Ginger Root / 5 g Ginger Puree

20 g Fresh Coriander / Small handful chopped

Salt to season
Directions
Use either a pestle and mortar or a small blender / grinder mix together the oil, turmeric, ginger, garlic and coriander to create a paste.
Ensure you have defrosted the fish and drained away any moisture.
Put the fillets on a plate or small tray and spoon the paste on the fish using the back of the spoon to coat all the fish. Turn the fillets to coat both sides.
Allow the fish to rest for a few minutes (these can be prepped the night before and stored in the fridge,
Heat a good non stick pan over a medium heat. Once hot add the fish fillets and cook for 4 - 5 minutes.
Carefully turn the fillets and cook for a further 3 - 4 minutes.
