Ingredients
-
50g Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
-
50g Ground Almonds (or other milled nuts / seeds)
-
50g Milled Linseed
-
260g Frozen Berries (e.g. we used 130g Strawberries and 130g Blackberries)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Heat the fruit over a low heat and add the remaining 10g sweetener. Allow the liquid to reduce so the mix becomes thicker. This should take 15-20 minutes.
Allow the fruit to cool before dividing equally between 4 oven-proof dishes or in 1 large dish.
Cut the butter into small cubes. Place in a large mixing bowl.
Add the ground almonds, 20g sweetener and linseed to the butter. Rub the ingredients lightly with your fingertips until it forms a crumb.
Add the crumb on top of the fruit and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
