We serve these with our Coconut Roti and Mint Raita recipes, plus shallots fried in the remaining lamb fat!
Makes 4 portions - each portion contains:
315 Calories / 1.9g Carbs / 21.6g Protein / 24.8g Fat
Ingredients
-
500g Lamb Mince (we use 20% fat)
-
20g Ginger, crushed
-
20g Garlic, crushed
-
20g Coriander, finely chopped
-
20g Fresh Green Chilli, crushed
-
1 tsp Garam Masala
-
1 tsp Pink Himalayan / Rock / Sea Salt
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl - to allow the spices and herbs to combine properly, spread the meat out around the sides of the bowl and add everything else in the middle, as seen in the photo above.
Knead with your hands thoroughly for around 5 minutes.
Using wet hands, shape the mince into 12 x 50g balls, then shape each one into 10cm long sausages.
These can be kept in the fridge or cooked straight away on a griddle pan, in the oven or grill on a high heat or a BBQ. Each kebab will only take around 10 mins to cook - try to make it crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
